Doula End of Life Care

I empathize.

I am here for you. As an end-of-life doula, I would be honored to help you focus on what means the most to you during a difficult time of your loved ones transition. Whether that is creating a safe space for your loved one, performing rituals, guiding a forgiveness journey, or assistance navigating through the grieving process, I am here for you.

As an end-of life doula, I support all transition. I am here for you to hold space to tend to your phsyical, emotional, and spiritual needs during this transitional time.

My mission is to help ease the burden of death and dying. I will hold space for you to express grief, I will honour your end of life wishes, I will see you for who you are without judgment. You don’t have to do this alone.

I will support you physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and practically by helping you map out your wishes.

This goes beyond the comfort and care of my client alone. I also attend to the needs of family.

Though witnessing and observing the process of death can be the most difficult event we experience as human, I believe I can empower the process to also be meaningful and peaceful

In part, I assist families and loved ones in taking care of routine tasks and duties, so the focus can be on what is most important in the dying process. Some of what I can help with as an end-of-life doula for families:

  • Helping guide the difficult conversations with your loved one (funeral planning, power of attorney)

  • Answering deep questions about the end of life that surpass medication

  • Helping deciding if a conscious death experience is right for your loved one

  • Help create a specific death plan and work with you to facilitate this

  • Create rituals and guide forgiveness discussions

  • Help the family to understand what might be happening for their loved one in the various phases of death

I see myself as a bridge of all care modalities; bridging the gap that sometimes exists in healthcare. I would be honored to hold space for the transition you are about to embark on.
